The Bayonet Farm, a property owned and operated by Holmdel Township, will be hosting its 7th Annual Arts and Music Festival on Sunday 12 September 2010 from noon to 5pm. Peter Trippi, of Fine Art Connoisseur, and James Yarosh, of James Yarosh Associates Fine Art Gallery of Holmdel, will judge a plein air painting competition as well as a juried art. There will also be live music from the Colts Neck Swing Band, Los Mas Valientes, Celadon Youth, and the Rock and Roll Chorus, plus a youth dance troupe from Kimisis Tis Theotokou of Holmdel. A full schedule of events is available online. Facebook and My Space each have promotions of this festival.
Google Maps has a significant misapprehension as to the location of 41 Middletown Road, the site of Bayonet Farm. It is not at Middletown Road and Barrister, as suggested by Google, but further down Middletown Road, just past Stillwell Road. I've created a map of the intersection with Stillwell. Directions are at the Bayonet Farm website.
