Aberdeen Muni Court Beefs Up Security
Aberdeen is among the first towns in the area to implement new statewide guidelines for security of municipal courts, according to a recent press release by the township. The NJ State League of Municipalities website says the Statewide Municipal Court Security Policy was adopted three summers ago. It's good that the court staff will feel safer, even if mostly traffic summonses and barking dog complaints, etc, are heard in municipal court here. The more dangerous stuff goes to the county courthouse in Freehold. The article mentions some efficiencies but I noticed nothing about additional costs that might be involved in implementing this new security plan.
