Robert Schweitzer is the new director of special services for the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District, according to the
Independent. He replaces Helen Rappaport, who held the position of supervisor of special services until that post was eliminated at the end of 2008. A Brooklyn native, Schweitzer has 20 years experience working in education with a specialization in behavioral disorders. He worked for the State of New Jersey Department of Education for four years as a
special education monitor. (Of course, the picture is of
