Keyport 2010 St Patrick's Day Parade Starts at 1 pm

Keyport is holding its annual St Patrick's Day Parade today at 1 pm. The weather is wonderful, but be advised that people have already started staking out their spots along the parade route, West Front Street is closed off,  and the parking lot near Ye Cottage Inn is pretty much full. A reviewing stand has been set up across the street from Espresso Joe's. The fire department is lining up its trucks and the bagpipers are warming up. You still have time to drop in for an espresso and watch the parade.

Other events scheduled this summer in Keyport:
  • The Waterfront Park Grand Opening will be on 22 May. Music, food, and celebrations begin that Saturday at noon.
  • The Memorial Day Parade will be Saturday 29 May at noon.
  • Two antique car shows are scheduled for 11 June and 17 September in the Stop and Shop Plaza at the corner of Routes 35 and 36.
