Final Results - 2011 Matawan-Aberdeen School Election

Below is a copy of the certified 2011 Matawan-Aberdeen School Election results from Monmouth County's Board of Elections as of 2 May 2011 and announced at the MARSD organizational meeting the following day.  (Congratulations to Charles Kenny and Liz Hayward for being re-elected as President and Vice President of the BOE.)

The final result included 9 additional votes against the budget and only 2 in favor, but don't get too excited: the budget still passed 53/47. As for the write-in results, I was pleased to see that the award-winning maker of Coconut Cupcakes and Cappuccino Cupcakes, Patricia Raymond of Cliffwood Beach, MRHS Class of '84, received over 6% of the vote. Of course the one thing they don't tell you - but you really wanna know - is who received the 53 remaining write-in votes? Maybe the county would make a few bucks by selling the list?
