The News Transcript says audio recordings of Monmouth County Freeholder meetings are now available online. As of tonight, I see the work session and regular meeting audio recordings for 24 March and 13 April.
Actually, the Freeholder audio recordings are only one part of the county's Open Public Records Search System, which contains agendas and minutes as well as historical documents like the 1875 NJ State Census, Court of Common Pleas records (1810-1817), and Civil War bounty pay and muster rolls. I haven't tried it out yet but will soon. Let me know if you have good results, especially with Matawan records.
