Local Reporter Goes to Globe Street

Jacqueline Hlavenka has left The Independent for a job with GlobeSt.com. Her first article with Globe Street appeared online on 4 April 2011.

There's a nice write up on Ms Hlavenka in the Holmdel Patch. The Patch mentions her work on the Union Beach wind turbine issue. But I remember her best from her coverage of the affordable housing development in Cliffwood.

We'll miss you, Jackie. You will be a wonderful asset to your new employer. Good luck.

  1. Jackie was great and will be missed.

The local reporters are usually straight out of college, put in two years to get some work experience, and then move on to be replaced by the next college grad.
