A 17 year old Matawan female was taken into custody in Cedar Grove (Essex County) last Friday on drug charges during a traffic stop for speeding, according to the
North Jersey Police Blotter. The driver of the car in which she was a passenger was arrested on outstanding warrants and charged with possession of 16 packets of drugs with intent to distribute. A second passenger was also arrested for being under the influence of drugs. The driver was from Montclair; the second passenger was from Wayne.
