Aberdeen Township Police Department is looking for Volunteer Advocates for their Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT), according to a
press release from the township. Volunteers will be required to take 40 hours of training scheduled for October. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, have access to transportation, be willing to serve on an on-call shift basis, participate in the interview process, and submit to a background investigation, including fingerprinting. Bi-lingual capability is a plus. You can help in the struggle against domestic violence in our community.
