What's with NJ Transit running its trains halfway down the platform at Aberdeen Station before stopping to let off passengers arriving from Newark and New York during the evening rush? I was in the next to last car and was nearly to Hazlet when I got off the train that was scheduled to leave Newark today at 6:40 pm and arrive at 7:18 pm! The end of the last car was actually near the stairwell in the far corner of the parking lot, leaving many of us with quite a hike back to civilization.

Halfway Down the Platform
What's with NJ Transit running its trains halfway down the platform at Aberdeen Station before stopping to let off passengers arriving from Newark and New York during the evening rush? I was in the next to last car and was nearly to Hazlet when I got off the train that was scheduled to leave Newark today at 6:40 pm and arrive at 7:18 pm! The end of the last car was actually near the stairwell in the far corner of the parking lot, leaving many of us with quite a hike back to civilization.
