News Updates as of 23 April 2009

Here are a few local news updates:

• Matawan Borough has a new business administrator.
• Monmouth University's Christian Keller (right), a graduate of Matawan Regional High School, finished first in discus at the Moravian Greyhound Classic on 18 April 2009 in Bethlehem, PA, according to the school's sports website. I mentioned him previously for coming in third place in the hammer throw at the same competition.
  
• A florist shop in Matawan is for sale.
• The Matawan Theater Alumni Association has posted a call for alumni players for the first annual Matawan Legends Alumni Show in June 2009.
